With Furioso II and Gotthard blood, it was always clear that Voltaire would be a champion. He became one of the most influential stallions in the sport horse-breeding world.
Voltaire’s bloodlines include an extremely large number of jumpers and dressage horses. He was ranked No 9 in the ten years 1991-2000 WBFSH ranking. His influence will continue not just through his stallions but also through his fillies producing highly succesful offspring.
In the US, Voltaire also possesses a reputation for supplying a large number of horses that perform remarkably well in the Hunter Classes. It is not surprising that Voltaire was "Hunter Sire of America” for several consecutive years.
