Fire is by the Dutch Senior Team jumper, Carambole and has grandsire Voltaire on the dam side.
This combination produced an athletic horse with short coupled, uphill conformation and a willing temperament.
He is a bold and most friendly character with a playful, cheeky side, often expressed in warm-ups !
Fire had great results as a 4 and 5-year-old in young horse classes where his naturally rhythmical, elevated trot and presence in the arena, impressed the judges.
In 2016 as a 6-year-old, he abstained from competing due to a superficial injury. Returning to the arena in 2017, he placed 7th in the Novice Silver at Keysoe Summer Regional Championships.
In May 2018 he won the East Midlands Hickstead Master’s Elementary Semi Final on 73.68% and went on to take 5th place in the Final at Hickstead Premier League in June.
Following this success, Fire was Reserve Champion in the Elementary Silver Summer Regional Championships at Hickstead in July and Regional Champion in the Medium Silver at Keysoe a month later. Qualifying at both levels for the 2018 National Championships, where he finished an impressive 3rd in the Elementary and 11th in the Medium.
Fire’s Championship success was replicated at the 2019 Winter Regionals, where he qualified for the Winter Nationals at Medium and Medium Freestyle.
In May 2019, he produced a 75% at Addington Equestrian in the Medium Freestyle.
At the 2020 British Dressage Winter Championships, with 71.11 % in the Medium Silver Freestyle, Fire and Rebecca finished 4th !
