Negro won the stallion competitions of 2000 and 2001, and won both finals in Den Bosch. In 2001, he also won the title of Best Young Stallion at the Zwollse Paarden Dagen”. In 2002, Negro won his first Prix St George. To date, he has competed in four Prix St George competitions, and has taken the title in three of them.

Negro has also produced successful offspring – one won best stallion, and another best mare, at the central examination in Zeeland. He is also sire to Valegro, the Olympic Gold medallist, who is currently in 3rd place in the FEI World Invididual Dressage Ranking, under Charlotte Dujardin.
