OLYMPIC FERRO

Ferro is known globally, for dressage and breeding.

Ferro was an important member of the Dutch team at the 2000 Olympics, and helped them win the team silver medal, with his individual score of 74.92%.

Ferro’s pedigree includes Ulft, Le Mexico and Furioso xx on his sire’s side. Le Mexico is 10th on the jumping index, with 142 points. On his damsire’s side, there are others high up on the jumping index – his damsire Farn is 6th with 148 points, and another of Farn’s sons, Nimmerdor, is in 2nd place with 155 points. 

He is the #1 stallion in the Netherlands, and was known as the "Black Pearl" of the KWPN.
